If we decide to work together, we will schedule your first appointment, and I’ll provide a follow-up email. This email will include paperwork to be completed at least 24 hours before our first appointment, as well as information about my office location (if using in-person therapy services), so you will be able to find my office easily. How Can I Support You?
Therapy for PTSD
Trauma can influence our beliefs about ourselves and the world, our ability to trust others, our sense of safety, and how we regulate our emotions. Even seemingly small experiences can have a significant impact, especially when they occur repeatedly or in a vulnerable stage of life. Therapy is your starting point to begin processing.
Therapy for Anxiety
Anxiety is often the first mental health symptom that we notice, and the one we are most comfortable admitting out loud. In our work together, we can discover what your anxiety is trying to have you notice, and you’ll learn actionable skills for calming and recentering.
Therapy for Depression
Depression can affect every aspect of our lives, from our mood and thoughts to our physical health. It can make us feel hopeless, drained of energy & disconnected from others. However it’s showing up in your day-to-day life, I want to help you get to the root of the issue and re-build your life in a way that brings meaning and joy.
EMDR Trauma Therapy
When experiences in your past feel too painful to revisit in therapy, EMDR is an incredibly powerful tool for healing. With EMDR, you can get close enough to the painful memories without the emotional distress to reprogram your body’s reaction.
IFS Therapy
IFS therapy offers a new perspective and lens to view the hurts that you’ve buried in the past, as well as the survival strategies you developed in response. This way of recognizing and working with the different “parts” of you is incredibly transformative.
IFS and EMDR Intensives
EMDR and IFS used separately, or together, can help you heal through flexing the imaginative, compassionate, and creative side of your inner self. Along with my EMDR certification, I have Level 1 IFS training, and I can combine the two modalities, empowering you to connect to yourself as you reduce the impacts of your past experiences.
One thing I love about EMDR and IFS is that these modalities are effective whether you give me all the details or just snapshots of what you have been through. Your brain and your body know what happened, and my role is to guide you through processing that.
